Our baby room is a gentle first step into nursery. Babies keep their own feeds and naps, and spend their days with a key person who gets to know them inside out.

Tummy time & moving
Clear floor space for tummy time, rolling, sitting, crawling and pulling up.
Sensory discovery
Treasure baskets, light and shadow, mirrors, textures, water and gentle sounds.
Baby signing & songs
Simple signs, action rhymes and lots of chat, the building blocks of first words.
First foods
We support every stage of weaning, from first tastes and purées to finger foods.
Fresh air every day
Buggy walks to Dean Gardens and tummy time on mats in the grass.
Stories & cuddles
A cosy corner with board books, puppets and soft furnishings.
Safer sleep: babies nap in our separate sleep room in their own cot, kept at 16–20°C, always in sight and hearing of staff. An adult stays with every baby under six months while they sleep.
Parents drop off through our secure rear gate, straight into the arms of your key person.
