The whole ground floor of 6 Leeland Road has been refitted for children under two. Photos are coming soon as we finish the renovation.
Our facilities
A separate sleep room
Individual cots, kept at 16–20°C and used in line with EYFS safer-sleep requirements. Sleeping children are always in sight and hearing of staff.
Milk kitchen
A dedicated milk-preparation area with sterilising equipment for bottles and baby food. Expressed milk and formula are labelled and stored safely.
Nappy changing & toilet
A dedicated changing area with its own hand basin, plus a children’s toilet for potty training.
Secure entrances
Both doors stay locked and are opened only by staff. The main entrance has an intercom lobby, and the rear entrance is reached through a coded gate.
Parents’ room
A private office for settling-in chats, progress reviews and anything you’d like to talk about in confidence.
Light & fresh air
Natural light in both playrooms, with heating and ventilation that keep rooms comfortable all year.
Out in the park, every day.
We don’t have a garden of our own, so we make the most of two lovely parks nearby. Every child goes outside every day unless the weather makes it unsafe.
- Dean Gardens, about 200 metres away, with a children’s play area
- Lammas Park, within walking distance, for our Friday Nature Explorers
- Babies ride in multi-seat buggies; new walkers toddle, explore and climb
- Every outing is risk-assessed, with at least one adult for every three children and a paediatric first aider
